Hand-Picked Juniper Berries – the Juniper berries were gathered by the British Herb Kitchen in the North of Scotland in October. Juniper goes brilliantly with so many things. See the two Juniper-based recipes in the box or just garnish your lovely Twisting Spirits festive Gin.
Juniper and Verbena Salt – add a piece of your own home-cured salmon to the Christmas table using our Juniper and Lemon Verbena salt. Made with Dorset sea salt, foraged Juniper Berries and our own dried Lemon Verbena, it’s a surprisingly easy, inexpensive and thoroughly unique way to serve the salmon at Christmas……or any other time for that matter! Bespoke British Aromatic Herb Mix – our own aromatic, dried winter herb mix with savory, hyssop, verbena, lovage, mint, chervil. Use in your sausage rolls or veggie sausage rolls, or in your stuffing, as a rub for your turkey or, best of all, on your roasties.
Seeds: Jekka’s Hyssop – sow them indoors in your British Herb Kitchen seed tray from January and plant them out when the frosts have gone. You’ll have your own supply of aromatic Hyssop to surprise and impress your friends (see our November recipes). PLUS Hyssop has gorgeous blue flowers later in the year.
Twisting Spirits Douglas Fir Gin – Wow! What else can we say! Enjoy it garnished with a few Juniper Berries and a twist of lemon.
Fennel and Dorset Sea Salt Fudge – if you need an excuse to indulge, try our British Herb Kitchen fudge. Salty, creamy and a little bit spicy, you may not want to share!
Lemon Verbena Shortbread – by popular demand, one of our BHK favourites. Ring the changes from the mince pies with the fresh, lemony tang of home-grown Verbena.
